Now that we've had our official first snow in Flora, the 4th graders painted some snowy landscapes. After looking at work by Pieter Brueghel the Elder, the students used watercolors (and crayon resist for the snow) to paint their own winter landscapes. None of the students added quite as much detail as Brueghel typically does, but that would be impossible in a half-hour art period!
