Snow!

Winter came very late to Indiana this year. I started doing wintertime artwork with my students in November, and many of them noticed that our artwork didn't match the weather outside! We finally got a light dusting of snow on Friday, but it didn't last. Then today, the day after Christmas, we got a real snow!

I'm actually snowed in right now at my parents' house in Indianapolis (they're calling this a blizzard on the news). So, I put the snow to use to create a work of art! I hope everyone else is having a wonderful Christmas break, and that you are enjoying the snow as much as I am if you got some :).

  1. We are supposed to get snow - finally - here tonight/tomorrow. I'm looking forward to hopefully having enough to build my own upside down snowman! I've been intrigued with the idea since I saw a pic of one on Pinterest. Yours is adorable!

  2. No snow here yet but I can hope. Happy New Year to you. Thanks for visiting my blog. You mentioned that your school does not have iPads. Well mine just got one for each class room and I have 6 for after school art which are used for enrichment and after school photography. Yes it would be wonderful in the art room but we will be happy with 6 for now. Blessings to you, Pam
